Sevhn Robinson — Grief & Healing After Loss | Airlift Publishing
On August 8, 2017, Sevhn Robinson's son Kyyri was killed by gun violence. She became an Angel Mom — a parent who has lost a child to a violent crime — and has spent the years since learning to live all over again and teaching other parents how.
One mother, then another — referrals and calls from across the country kept coming, and she went all in.
She is the founder and Executive Director of MM2K, Inc., which gives families who have lost someone to violence a safe place to go. She is a gun violence prevention advocate, a cancer conqueror, a domestic violence survivor, and the 2022 recipient of the Woman of Legacy Award.
She does not write from theory. She writes from the path she is still walking — reminding others that the pain never goes away, but they can make it better.
